GREETINGS!
COVID-19 GUIDELINES
Due to changes following the COVID pandemic there are many guidelines and regulations that need to be put in place and adhered to in order to keep everyone as safe and as well as possible in the future. Please try not to feel overwhelmed by these changes - we will implement them as smoothly as we can and ensure that your yoga practice at the Mud Hut Yoga Studio is as calm and nourishing as always. If you are uncomfortable about returning to the studio please see the online options below.
*** FACE MASKS: THE REGULATIONS FOR FACE MASKS CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES IN VICTORIA. PLEASE BE GUIDED BY THE MOST CURRENT GUIDELINES. Feel free to wear a mask when entering the studio if you feel you are unable to maintain 1.5 m social distancing. Masks are NOT required during class and all mats are placed to allow ample room for social distancing. Of course you are welcome to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so.
DO NOT ATTEND THE STUDIO IF:
If you feel unwell (even just a little!) and /or you are exhibiting signs of fever, cough or sore throat.
EVEN IF YOU HAVE HAD A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST RESULT - YOU STILL CANNOT ATTEND THE STUDIO UNTIL YOU ARE SYMPTOM FREE
BE MINDFUL: If you have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID

BENEFITS
Whilst the above guidelines may seem rather tiresome at times , remember: they ARE designed to keep us safe and well. In fact, by now they seem quite ‘normal’ !!
The benefits of recommencing your yoga practice at the studio within our supportive community, I believe, make it worthwhile navigating the post-COVID regulations that are now a reality in our lives. If, however, you are not comfortable returning to the studio itself please think about exploring the online options. Many classes will be streamed live – so if you are unwell, or can’t make it to class for another reason, you will still be able to participate in an online class. There are also YouTube classes available.
REMEMBER: Taking time to care for and nurture yourself as much as possible remains a priority. Be kind to yourself. Practice ahimsa - non-harming.
ZOOM ~ LIVE STREAMING CLASSES
There are 5 regular classes streaming live PLUS the YOGA BITES/ RECORDED Series. These classes can be found on the calendar. When registering you can choose VIRTUAL or IN-STUDIO. Some people may opt to attend all their classes online, other people may mix it up and attend both online and in the studio classes. With the reduced class sizes due to the COVID restrictions the ability to fit in to classes is a bit trickier. If you have a cold or you are unwell you need to stay home. Online classes are a good way to ensure you can continue a regular practice whether you can make it to a studio class or not.
YOUTUBE
There are 12 Youtube clips that you can find by searching the internet. Key words to put in your search are: Sue Barlow & yoga & mudhut & youtube. These clips provide the opportunity for a yoga practice at home, Mud Hut style, at no cost. You can do one on it’s own or mix them together to create a different session each time.
IT IS MY HOPE THAT THESE RESOURCES WILL PROVIDE A PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR YOU DURING THESE CHANGING TIMES.
